FJCP Goes to Poland

Aug 1, 2023

Eight members of FJCP will travel together in Poland to support each other’s ongoing and proposed restoration projects.

In a few months, eight members of FJCP will travel together in Poland to support each other’s ongoing and proposed restoration projects and to attend a community celebration in one of the cemeteries.  This will build on last year’s trip during which we visited a handful of FJCP member-led projects and with multiple eyes on the ground were able to provide critical input to some of our members.  We plan on meeting with the various authorities in Warsaw involved in cemetery restoration. The highlight of the trip will be attending the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Bialystok Ghetto uprising on August 16.

If you are interested in joining us for part or all of our trip, please feel free to inquire at FJCP@jewishheritagepoland.org.
